Allahu akbar. Masha Allah, we have heard several wonderful news and plannings but I doubt if you have heard of this. Indeed, it is the first of its kind that should be experienced by all.
How nice will it be that you are among the first set of people to participate in a deen intensive in the wonderful and blessed desert of Mauritania?
Indeed, many of us have heard of the beauty and the way knowledge is been preserved and transmitted in this ancient country known and respected for Islamic scholarship. Many wish to come and have share of their blessings from this land of thousands poets as the Mauritanians call it but fear some conditions that may not allow them stay for a long time.
This is indeed a very wonderful opportunity to grab because you won't have to spend too much time but indeed benefit from the scholars to be invited from abroad, the Mauritanian shuyukh and also the programmes to be covered like the books to be read, places to visit, foods to eat and to learn the Mauritanian methodology in seeking knowledge. A documentary of the deen intensive will also be made as one of the organisers said.
Ya Lateef, I can't wait to hear when it will be announced publicly and see how it happens. Indeed, it will be very nice to see how it goes.
One of the deen intensives is called Rihla, we hear of the Dowra in Yemen then JAWLA in Mauritanian-- meaning the same meaning like the above mentioned.
